I began practicing law in 1991 with the law firm of Speer & Holiday, one of the most established firms in Johnson County, Kansas. In 2005, I left the firm to open my solo practice. I now am able to offer my clients a more focused approach, limiting my practice to a few narrow 

Practice areas of law.

• Minors facing criminal charges in the Juvenile law system
• Parents, grandparents, other family members, and foster care parents working on behalf of at-risk children in Child in Need of Care cases involving placement of children outside of the home and in the foster care system

As an attorney with extensive experience in foster care and juvenile law I understand the subtle but important points necessary to protect minors in courts and child care arenas. I also represent adults accused of driving under the influence, drug possession, or other criminal offenses.
